TRANSFER A DOMAINThis page is for transferring your domain name away from another domain name registration company. This transfer will renew your domain name for 1 year if the transfer is successful. If it fails for any reason, you will not be charged. Please remember to transfer your domain(s) here before they expire. The expiration cycle date of your domain will stay the same. You will never lose any remaining time due to a domain name transfer or renewal.
For example:
lets say that you have 2 years left before your domain will expire. If you choose to transfer your domain now and buy an additional year from us, this would mean that your domain will expire in 3 years.(2 yr. from your old registrar, plus 1 year from dbis.net.)
Note: You MUST have access to the ADMINISTRATIVE CONTACT EMAIL ADDRESS to the domain name you wish to transfer. Once the request is generated, your current registrar will receive the request for transfer. You will then receive an email from them asking you to very the request. This email will be sent to the Administrative Contact for the domain. You must then reply to this email before the process can go any further.
