Repairing a computer usually comes down to one of three things;
• Hardware
• Software
• Operator error

What can complicate the repair is when your issue is a combination of more than one of the above. DBis Systems makes every effort to fix your problem the same day, However, some problems can be so intermittant, or so elusive that it can take several days to resolve. Commonly, a service such as virus removal, usually takes no more than two (2) hours.

ONE FLAT RATE
We offer one flat rate for computer repair. That rate is $45.00 per hour, one hour minimum. If the service takes more than one (1) hour, we then charge in 15 minute increments ($11.25 per fifteen minutes). This rate applies to "facetime" only. In other words, we only charge for the time we are sitting at the computer, manually working on it. If any of our proprietary programs are running on your computer, we DO NOT charge for that time. This only applies to remote assistance or when the computer is in our shop. If you request "onsite" service, we charge for the total time we are at your location. If the service looks as if it will take more than three (3) hours, we will gain your approval before proceeding. We will not charge you over three (3) hours, unless you consent to us continuing.

COMMON PROBLEMS
These days most problems with computers is malware - Adware, Spyware, Trojans, Worms, Virus, Dialers, Hijackers and Rootkits. There are so many categories of this type plague that all of them cannot be named. Generally, if you have one known problem, there is a very good chance you have many problems. As stated above, using our proprietary software, most virus infections can be eleviated in a couple of hours. Of course this depends on the degree of your problem, the amount of files and directories on your hard drive, the speed of your system, and the number of infections.
